We provide the support tools for people to rebuild their lives through our street outreach, youth impact development programs, and services. Our programs are impacting the lives of hundreds of people. We do all of this while sharing the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Street Outreach Ministry is held in areas where crime and violence are its highest. Once a month FTLS goes into the hedges and highways to deliver the Gospel of Jesus. We feed, clothe and meet the tangible needs of the community. The ultimate goal is for people to give their lives to Jesus Christ.
Finding the Lost Sheep Street Ministry brings together inmates, chaplains, and lay-workers in the study and ministry of God’s Word at the 33rd Street Jail in Orlando Florida. We conduct in-house jail ministries that include biblical one-on-one counseling, group bible studies, distribution of bibles Christian books, and resources for transitional places to stay and worship services once inmates get out of jail.
Emergency Services
We provide both residential and emergency services to the community, including meals, showers, clothing, academic courses, employment workshops, job search assistance and referral services.
Restore Program
The restore programs provides a host of services designed to be client driven such as individual, family and at-risk counseling; Life Skill courses such as anger management, parenting, academic classes such as GED preparation, computer literacy, and tutoring; employment readiness workshops, job search assistance; group sessions; socialization; vocational training; transitional housing; and other relevant services to assist clients in becoming contributing members of society.
Food Bags
Impact Family Stability has a long history of providing emergency food bags to those in need. Each week, we prepare about 75-80 bags for distribution to homeless individuals, families and homeless youth.
Homeless Prevention & Outreach Services
Our Outreach Services provide ongoing support for individuals and families. This keeps our clients connected to a community where they feel accepted and nurtured in order to encourage and maintain the progress they have achieved. Outreach Services provide housing, referral services and assistance with addressing the various roadblocks and obstacles that often accompany re-entry into society.
The STEAM program is a mentoring/educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Media as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, teamwork, and work through the creative process. These are the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century!
Homeless street youth, teenagers or youth from families of very low to low income households are eligible for free meals during school week. But, during the weekend, STEAM SURVIVORSHIP is a weekend backpack filled with clothes, personal hygiene items, food & beverages they earned by completing the task, project or whatever is required by the end of each S.T.E.A.M component. The purpose is to get them through the weekend with basic necessities that may not be readily available to them.
This social entrepreneurship training lab provides youth with a supportive, hands-on and engaging environment to test a new or existing business idea. They will gain knowledge in business finance, marketing, and business so they can directly apply skills that will enhance their business brand. Within a team or individually they will learn how their business will make money and promote positive change in their community.
We provide after-school tutoring to at-risk students. We give students the helping hand they deserve to ensure they succeed academically. Our one-on-one sessions with an experienced tutor have been statistically proven to increase a child’s learning and the experience often stimulates confidence and self-esteem. Our tutoring programs have been identified as having the potential to turn academic failure into academic success.
Home economics, domestic science or home science is a field of study that deals with the relationship between individuals, families, communities and the environment in which they live. Home economics will teach the children important life skills, such as cooking, sewing, health & hygiene, money management, community awareness & serving. “Back to the basics of home economics”, we will reinstitute a course of vital & basic “family and consumer science” of running an efficient home.
The Healthy Action Positive Parenting Initiative (HAPPI). HAPPI focuses on effective one-on-one parent mentoring solutions. We pair mothers, fathers, and grandparents with a qualified HAPPI Mentors and Facilitators. Mentors provide hands-on personal support, encouragement, and coaching through the usage of tools, resources, and real-life experience to positively help parents.
