Finding the Lost Sheep was founded by the late Anthony Hodge in 2002. Anthony was branded a habitual career criminal and faced 70 years in prison when God opened his eyes and commissioned him to share the love of Jesus Christ. He was promptly released after only 26 months and dedicated his life to serving the East Winter Garden community.
The East Winter Garden community is racked with drug activity, gang violence, shootings, sexual exploitation, theft, abuse by adults for pleasure or profit, and survival-sex. Anthony had fallen prey to homelessness, drugs and addiction within this community before Christ changed his life, and he prayerfully hopes to intervene through the Holy Spirit in the lives of those who don’t know Jesus.
Vision: To find, to feed, and to be a light to God’s lost sheep.
Mission: To reach out to the lost and less fortunate of East Winter Garden. We seek to follow Christ’s example and meet the physical, emotional, as well as spiritual needs of the downtrodden, indigent, and the ‘least of these.’
